Share your experiences and gain from the experiences of other individuals in your field. Among the industries represented for round tables this year are:
- Energy. Discuss topics related to producing petroleum, natural gas, gasoline, and cycle condensate; recovering oil; pipeline transportation; refining; and extraction of solid minerals.
- Financial. Given the current state of the financial markets and their impact on the economy, RIM is in the limelight. Join your colleagues to learn what else is coming in this highly regulated industry.
- GARP®. Are you trying to get management’s attention and support for your RIM program? Have you hit roadblocks in trying to engage the Legal department? What has your experience been in using the GARP® Principles in your organization? Attend this highly interactive discussion where you will have the opportunity to learn from your peers and to share your success stories with others. Facilitated by Fred Pulzello, CRM, this discussion just might hold the keys to boosting the success of your RIM program.
- Higher Education (RIM Degree): Are you a student or a working professional thinking about furthering your RIM education? Maybe a Master's Degree or Certificate from an accredited university or college? This forum is for you. Representatives from colleges and universities around the world will be represented with information regarding their RIM Program offerings.
- Legal. This session will discuss issues related to law firms and will include discussions among individuals working in various legal departments.
- Pharmaceutical. If your company is involved in research, manufacturing, fabricating, or processing drugs or devices, you’ll find this session valuable.
- Retail. Discuss the challenges of managing records and e-mail in a distributed retail store environment. Share strategies for success when personnel turnover is high, retail outlets have varying levels of records management expertise, and technology infrastructure is not cutting edge.
- U.S. Federal Government. Discuss topics related to the U.S. government, including legislative, judicial, administrative, and regulatory activities.
- Utilities. Discuss specific records requirements common to all phases of providing electricity, water, waste water, gas, and other utilities.
